GNC Distribution Center, in Whitestown, Indiana is seeking an experienced IT Professional!
Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
Compensation will be based off on experience level.

The Help Desk Technician/ End User Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware or software. They will respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
Provides quick, responsive support on system related requests from our internal users.
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
Fulfills departmental requirements in terms of providing work coverage when Systems Administrator is unavailable.
Trouble shoot, analyze and diagnose hardware and software problems.
Assists the Install, configure and support end-user application software (i.e. Email, DLx, Microsoft Office, Windows), and all IT hardware utilized at GNC Distribution.
Train end-users to adequately use the equipment. Repair and replace microcomputers.
Order equipment from approved vendor/parts list. Responsible for receipt of new inventory and verification of purchase order.
Maintain user accounts on network. Assists to ensure the departments are legal regarding software licenses.
Monitor backup of file servers and workstations, as assigned. Manage and track all system problems, using the supplied help desk software. Research, learn and maintain technical knowledge for all systems utilized at GNC Distribution. Adheres and maintains a positive working relationship with all departments to optimize working relationships and communications.
Helps to maintain inventory records of all IT related equipment throughout the facility.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate Degree preferred
0-3 years of successful Network PC experience
Excellent communication skills and be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with various personnel within the corporation
Capability to work closely with the user community in solving day to day issues
Takes initiative and detail oriented; Problem-solver; Strong sense of urgency
Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast paced environment
Strong customer service skills, willing to assist all users with various requests
