DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Final Clean & Pack Operator, 3rd Shift. This position pays $31.67 hour, with a $1.00/hour night shift premium, and is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement in a union environment.

  • As a Final Clean & Pack operator, you will operate all types of conventional machining equipment, not requiring set-up, to produce and assemble a variety of parts. You will be responsible for the cleaning of products, trays, lids, equipment, and maintaining fluid levels. You will mark products, clean, and match material with products and laser etches. Package finished product to packaging specifications and processes. Does assembly work required in the clean room environment. Requires the use of a variety of adjustable and electronic measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

  • You will train and instruct others in classification as the need arises.

  • You will be responsible for the quality of their work and inspecting the work of others as defined in the Operator Certification Program.

  • Employees will move material and run multiple operations. Employees are responsible for cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment, general housekeeping, and 6S activities within their work areas. Will perform simple or routine preventative maintenance checks and minor duties such as topping off fluids available in the immediate work area.

  • Responsible for performing the job in a safe and environmentally advantageous manner by aligning with all safety and environmental rules, policies and procedures.

  • Automatic Transfer Machine

  • Vacuum Sealers

  • Heat Seal Equipment

  • Shrink Wrap Machine

  • General Bench Work (Trim, Assembly, Boxing, Hand Clean, etc.)



  • A minimum of a High School education is required

  • At least two (2) years of experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment is required.

  • The ability to read, comprehend and apply processes, criteria and required procedures to successfully complete job tasks.

  • Must be able to interpret and apply knowledge of blueprints.

  • Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

  • Must be able to use and operate computer systems (Microsoft Office), handheld technology, and automated equipment.

  • This job requires physical/auditory and visual demands such as walking, standing and carrying boxes. Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds on a regular basis.

  • This position is located in Warsaw, Indiana and requires a daily commute for 1st shift working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, or 2nd shift working hours of 3:00 - 11:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, or 3rd shift working hours of 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Sunday - Thursday with overtime, off-shift hours and weekends as needed.
