Manufacturing Technician IV (Components) About the role: The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to design fixtures, jigs, tooling as well as troubleshoot and repair equipment in the Injecting Molding and Extrusion department. You will also support qualifications, continuous improvement initiatives, and communicating with equipment suppliers to troubleshoot and/or purchase parts/equipment. Your responsibilities will include: * Perform preventative maintenance, modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment in the Injection Molding and Extrusion Department including automation of equipment * Contact equipment suppliers to troubleshoot and/or purchase parts/equipment * Collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors in support of qualifications, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering activities, as needed * Support equipment calibration efforts in department * Ability to work off-shifts and weekends to support production and engineering activities, as needed * Work closely with department supervision to ensure department priorities are met, and support production scheduling activities * Understanding and follow GMP s record-keeping to maintain compliance with quality system * Must comply with safety standards and requirements, and perform all work following safe practices What we\'re looking for in you: Basic Qualifications * AA degree or equivalent years of experience and 6 years injection molding maintenance experience with extrusion maintenance experience as a plus. Experience must be in a production environment. * Demonstrated hands-on technical and maintenance knowledge of injection molding equipment with extrusion equipment as a plus. * Demonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic maintenance. * Skilled in the use of hand tools, diagnostic, and measurement equipment. * Good communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications * Associates degree or certification from technical/trade school. * 10 years of equipment maintenance experience with 7 years injection molding experience in medical device manufacturing environment.
