Supervise a team of individual contributors who are manufacturing Honeywell's world class innovative products. You will leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented production employees. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in one of Honeywell Aerospace production facilities. Through collaboration with cross functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.
· Directly coach, manage and supervise team of 25+ production and union operators (hourly employees)
· Drive productivity improvements in manufacturing
· Enforce compliance in many areas
· Lead culture of continuous improvement
· Performance and Talent Management
· Drive accountability to key operational metrics
· Resource management in dynamic environment
· Review quality output and coach team improvements
· Collaborate with customers (internal/external) and cross functional teams
· Reporting of metrics to high levels with high visibility
· This is an onsite role
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply Chain
3-5+ years of manufacturing experience
Demonstrated ability to motivate others in a deadline and matrixed environment
Strong verbal and written documentation skills
Must be able to work overtime which may include: nights, weekends or Holidays as needed
3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory role
Ability to develop and build strong team and provide development opportunities for employees
Efficient with SAP software
Ability to troubleshoot process gaps and opportunities of manufacturing supply chain disruptions
Conveys information with clarity and directness
Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite of products
Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
