VASCOR Shift Leader (1st and 2nd Shift available) in Roanoke, Indiana

Position Summary

The Shift Leader (SL) is responsible for location accountability. These accountabilities include: bi-weekly productivity reports; monthly audits; scheduling of work force to meet financial goals. Shift Leader will insure all Vascor and OSHA safety policies are followed as well as insure that all QMS processes are followed and understood by all team members. The Shift Leader will work closely with IT for solving computer issues. The SL is also responsible for ensuring payroll is accurate and submitted accordingly. This position will also be required to conduct vehicle inspections.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accuracy of inspections using VASCOR inspection criteria.

  • Conduct and train for vehicle inspections.

  • Daily interaction and communication with customers.

  • Perform ongoing process review and improvements.

  • Determine and coordinate resolutions to day-to-day operational quality issues.

  • Identify potential VASCOR business opportunities.

  • Administrative tasks.

  • Follow up and resolve HR issues.

  • Attending meetings with our customers.

Essential Skills and Experience

Education

  • G.E.D. or High School Diploma.

Skills

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills using Windows based Word and Excel.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through solving problems for internal and external customers.

  • Self-motivated and able to operate within a team environment

  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Organization and Planning.

  • Prior inspection or supervisory experience required.

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
