JOB SUMMARYPlan production schedule to meet customer demands for ordering parts, lead times, prepare shipments, and inventory control.i Responsible for assisting others as needed to stock machining lines, assembly lines, and drive fork truck.iESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESIncludes the following but not limited to other duties that may be assigned.iBuilds and maintains the production schedule and purchase order releases by monitoring the EDI, considering lead times and customer demand.iWorks with the Production Coordinator and other department managers to make production changes and adjusts schedules as required in regard to the customersi demand, unscheduled maintenance, personnel levels and other issues affecting production and quality.iExamines material received to verify correct part amounts, PO Number and on time status.i iCompiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory and in process production reports.iMonitors and controls movement of material and parts in-plant transfers of material; follows up on status and location of materials as needed.iComputes amount of material required to complete job orders to prepare PO releases.iWorks with customers and warehouses to ensure demands are met, procedures and policies are maintained, and provide outstanding customer service.iMonitors customer warehouses daily to ensure keeping with determined min/max levels at all times.i Make adjustments to shipments and production as needed to maintain safe inventory levels at the warehouses.iAssists PCandL team members as necessary in the performance of their duties, including driving, stocking, and unloading.i Prepares product for shipment to ensure accurate and timely shipments are made, including physically checking the shipment and completing the appropriate paperwork.i iCoordinates shipping and delivery of items related to the Environmental Management System, including but not limited to recyclables, waste water and waste wood containers.iAssists in cycle counting, physical inventories, and inventory control including tracking incoming parts, machined parts, assembled parts and shipped parts.QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCEEducationHS Diploma / GEDiWork experienceHave at least one year manufacturing experience, specifically in shipping and receiving.iLanguage SkillsHave the ability to read or write; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. To have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.iMathematical SkillsHave the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Employee will need to have the ability to compute rate ratio, percent and to interpret bar graphs.iReasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.iComputer SkillsAbility to work proficiently with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, graphs, and data entry.i iCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust obtain company certification and complete understanding of Fork Lift, 6S, and on ISO/TS 16949 procedures, work instruction, skill charts and graphs.i
