Aerotek CNC Machinist in RICHMOND, Indiana


Industrial manufacturing company is looking to add CNC Machinist to their team. Candidates will be responsible for operating, setting up, and loading CNC lathes and mills. This will be a fast past environment and Osborn is not looking for someone who is just a button pusher.

Job Duties:

  • Setup and operate multiple CNC lathes and mills (Bar and chucking type setups)

  • Ability to perform advanced mathematic

  • Understand complicated blueprints, and ability to read setup sheets

  • Good knowledge of all cutting tools and precision measuring instruments

  • Strong mechanical ability and previous CNC lathe experience

  • Use of Calipers and micrometers

  • Ability to document setups

Shift: 1st Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must haves:

  • 3-5 Years of CNC set up experience

  • Must be able to read blue prints and us calipers

  • CNC lathes experience

  • Good job history


  • Manual machining experience

  • Programing experience

  • G and M coding

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
