We are looking for an experienced leader in high volume fulfillment/distribution, someone who lives and breaths fast paced pick/pack/ship operations and knows how to build high functioning teams.

  • Implement process improvement in Logistics, Materials and Facilities for the company – directing and administering production control, warehouse stock control, traffic and shipping

  • Makes recommendations designed to reduce costs, update systems and provide environmentally approved materials and services

  • Performs required analysis to develop improvement processes and performance opportunities within the division

  • Lead and participate in improvement projects across functional groups to include warehouse personnel, shipping & receiving and others as needed

  • Establish and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization’s goals and objectives

  • Develop training and evaluation metrics for staff

  • Other job duties and projects as assigned

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years in Warehouse Management, Distribution and Fulfillment or equivalent experience

  • Divisional P&L, budgeting and strategy experience

  • Experience in contract and lease negotiations

  • Logistical project management experience

  • Oracle WMS experience

  • Experience managing multiple business units

  • College Degree BA or above in related field

Job Skills & Traits

  • APICS Certification Preferred

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Management of multiple facilities

  • Remote management from a separate state

  • Exposure/experience with Six Sigma, Lean or similar certifications
