SNAVELY MACHINE HAS MULTIPLE OPENINGS FOR PRODUCTION CNC OPERATORSA production CNC operator is responsible for the daily operation of a high production CNC machining cell.i The operator's primary responsibility is to keep the machines operating while maintaining quality requirements.i In addition to repetitive lifting of parts the operator must maintain the quality requirements of the part including inspection for visual defects. In order to perform the job a candidate must have a willingness to learn the position through on the job training if the skill requirements are not already established.Skill Requirements of the PositionOperate CNC equipment (Lathe, Mill, Grinder, etc.)Basic robot operation and other automation equipmentGage parts using gaging including Marposs gages, calipers, and other instrumentsInspect parts for visual defects while operating equipmentLoad/Unload CNC equipment, conveyors, and pack parts into boxesAbility to read simple blueprintsAbility to change tools in CNC equipmentBasic computer skillsBasic mathAbility to follow work instructions without deviationAbility to work safely with minimal supervisionPhysical Requirements:Walking or standing on concrete floor for long periods of timeWill be working aily with oils and coolantsRequired to wear steel toe shoes or boots, safety glasses or eye protectionWill possibly be wearing latex glovesHearing protection available, but not mandatoryRepetitive grasping, lifting, bending, turningCompensationStarting pay $15.00 per hourAfter 90 days $16.00 per hourAfter 1 year $17.00 per hourOn top of hourly wages employees have the ability to earn attendance bonuses of $40, $80, and $120 weeklyBenefitsiMedical, Dental, Vision andiHoliday pay after 90 days of employment401(K) Retirement program andi1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment90 day (within first year) evaluation and yearly evaluation for potential raises
