Helmer Scientific Master Assembler - Final Test (Part-Time) in Noblesville, Indiana

Are you ready to join us and make a difference? We have a career opportunity for a Master Assembler to join our team!

The Master Assembler:

  • Performs repetitive assembly tasks using basic hand tools to build temperature controlled storage units, refrigerators/freezers and thawing systems.

  • Must be trained to perform all tasks on assembly line, operate as a fill in, perform quality inspections and trouble shoot.

  • Will braze refrigerators, solder electrical components, charge refrigerator systems as needed.

  • Will be involved on lean and 5S implementation team.

  • Must be flexible, able to work under high pace and changing conditions.

Relative Work Experience: 2-5 years general assembly experience with hand tools.

Education: High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to communicate, read and understand work instructions in English.

Certifications / Licenses: May drive a forklift as needed but is not required for job. Employees who drive a forklift are required to hold a valid driver’s license and satisfactorily complete Helmer Fork Lift Training

Computer Systems / Software: MRP/ERP

Specialized Training: Brazing, charging or wiring skills/training preferred and will be developed after hire.

  • Capability to follow established procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; concentrate on routine work details amid periodic interruptions.

  • Is open to the ideas, diverse views and opinions of others; offers opinions constructively; offers assistance when needed.
