Helmer Scientific Manufacturing Trainee in Noblesville, Indiana
Are you ready for a career in manufacturing? Helmer is launching a Manufacturing Training Program for individuals looking for benefits, stability in schedule, and full-time work. After successful completion of the program, trainees will land in a regular role within one of the three departments based on skill set and preference.
The Manufacturing Training Program will take place at Helmer Scientific Headquarters located at 14400 Bergen Boulevard Noblesville, IN 46060. The next launch of this program will take place on December 7th.
Helmer Scientific designs, integrates, manufactures, markets, and distributes specialized medical and laboratory equipment to clinical and life science customers in over 125 countries.

The Manufacturing Trainee:

Comply with workplace safety procedures
Regular and reliable attendance, which includes punctuality and working scheduled overtime, is necessary to meet our commitment to provide quality products and service to our customer.
Performs repetitive assembly/fabrication/materials tasks using basic hand tools to build either parts for or actual temperature-controlled storage units, refrigerators/freezers and thawing systems, Cleans and packs units, handles material for distribution.
Attend assigned training classes and shadowing.
Follows work instruction to determine the process required.
Performs quality testing and inspections.
Record measurements as needed.
Ensure that device history records are completed according to FDA GMP requirements. Complete nonconformance records according to established procedures and GMP requirements.
Required to do limited amounts of wiring or foam for packaging based on business need.
Sheet Metal Assembly (using various assembly tools).
Relative Work Experience: None needed
Education: High school diploma, GED or Certificate of Completion required. Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
Certifications / Licenses: Driver’s License preferred

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Starting Pay: $14.30 per hour
