The Production Crew Leader is accountable for the safety and health of the employees under his/her direction by recognizing and reducing risk and managing processes that prevent incidents in his/her areas. The crew leader must ensure that safe work procedures and practices are followed and address at-risk behaviors in the workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES * Utilizing process knowledge to aide production, maintenance, planning, quality, and engineering personnel * Coaching and counseling employees on standard operating practices and "best practices" for increased performance * Leading troubleshooting efforts, developing practices, developing process improvements, and enhancing productivity and employee engagement * Accountability for traditional administrative tasks of crew leaders. * Must be willing and able to work a rotating shift. QUALIFICATIONS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED * A minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment. * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
