Job Details:The SharePoint System Administrator is responsible for coordination of all operational aspects of the SharePoint system. Acts as the gatekeeper for any changes or modifications to SharePoint. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing day to day analytical and technical activities, including monitoring application logs, interface logs, technical application support, alert messages, refreshing test environments, scheduling planned downtimes, and scheduling release and patch upgrades. Maintains an understanding of the overall technical components required by SharePoint. Works with the IT Directors, Analysts and IT technical teams, provides third level support of CHS SharePoint environments. Acts as a resource as needed to Technical Services team. Acts as a liaison between Technical Services team and functional users. Coordinates the implementation process when installing or upgrading SharePoint systems. Maintains close communications with all IT Directors and provides status reports on a regular basis. Position located at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN. To qualify, you must have:· BS in Information Technology or Business.· 3-5 years with SharePoint Administration, SharePoint Application Deployment and SharePoint Design; experience with version 2013 and 2016· Expert knowledge of SharePoint administration including but not limited to: SharePoint security, infrastructure, system maintenance, deployment, and publishing· SharePoint certification preferred; required within 12 months of employment· Experienced in Web development, publishing and application.· Working knowledge SharePoint with multiple browsers: Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari· Working knowledge of Windows desktop and Windows server v2012 and v2016 operating systems; Active Directory/LDAP, TCPIP, MS Office, Internet, Intranet, SSL encryption, Visual Studio.· Technical skills required: CSS, HTML, SQL v2012 and higher, ASP.NET, C#, XML.· Strong analytical and customer service skills; able to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously.· Strong oral and written communications skills.· Detailed oriented and quality focused.· Flexibility and adaptability dealing with quickly changing priorities. · Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
