Job Description

This position will help assist with Basic Recurring Scheduling Tasks listed below, in order to gain a gradual understanding of the day-to-day tasks of a scheduling analyst. Additionally they will complete Project Items stated below.

Basic Recurring Tasks:

  • Schedule sales orders in SAP; monitor past due and at risk orders

  • Supply & demand analysis for Lead Time calculations

  • Scheduling Metrics

  • Available to Promise (ATP) calculations as needed

  • Monitoring and correcting invalid profit centers

  • Assist with forecast accuracy: Add part #s to CRM from write-in section of forecast; monitor forecast for obsolete items and correct

  • Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers

  • Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Project Items:

  • Maintain monthly “Quick Turn Lead Time Sheet”

  • Develop template to help automate lead time calculations, including input for supply, actual demand, and forecasts.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for orders not scheduled within 3 days; define most frequent problems; suggest ways to mitigate problems.

  • Develop macros and/or database to identify incorrectly scheduled orders

Required Skills

We are seeking someone with a computer background, specifically data analytics, with database building experience in Access

  • Excel, Access

  • Personal Computer knowledge

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Keyboard/typing skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Required Experience

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher with a relevant major.
