Aerotek Maintenance Technician in LAFAYETTE, Indiana

Aerotek is hiring for a Maintenance Technician near Lafayette!

Description:

The maintenance technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance , machine breakdown calls , and machine repair. Thier job duties are as follows:

  • Preventative Maintenance

  • Machine Repair

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting

  • Replace Bearings , Chains, and Belts on Conveyors

  • Electrical Troubleshooting

  • Hydraulic Press Maintenance

  • Rebuild or Replace Pumps, Valves, and Motors (3 phase 480V)

  • Troubleshoot Input / Output issues with the PLC (Allen Bradley)

Pay: $26-35/hr

Location: Lafayette

Shift: 7am-7pm OR 7pm- 7am (2-2-3 Slide schedule)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience

  • Hydraulic / Pneumatic Troubleshooting (Replace lines, cylinders, etc.)

  • Mechanical Maintenance (Replace bearings , chains, belts, etc.)

  • Electrical Maintenance (Replace 480V , 3 phase motors , sensors , photoeyes, etc.)

+Motor Control Knowledge

  • PLC Troubleshooting (input/output issues , ladder logic , laptop hook up, parameter edits)

  • Mig / Tig / Stick Welding
