Aerotek Production Associate in La Porte, Indiana

Description:

The chosen candidates' daily responsibilities will mainly consist of breaking down pallets of raw materials (mostly metal alloys) into 5-gallon buckets, or bags of various sizes per client specifications. This will require the individual to utilize a sit down forklift to move the pallets. Ability to lift 50+ pounds is crucial to executing the required job duties. There are two sections of the facility: one in which the candidate will strictly be using a filling machine to inject powder into bags and stacking those bags onto pallets (requires physical labor); the other is where individuals will be using a forklift to get a pallet of materials and separating those materials into smaller portions per client requirements (the portion sizes may vary from 5-gallon buckets to small bags -- this requires the candidate to be able to read a digital scale in accordance with the client specifications).

Shift: 1st shift

Pay: $14.00/hour
