Aerotek Warehouse Technician- DCC in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description:

Responsible for various job duties for order fulfillment process for copier and printer products. Basic duties include installing circuit boards, kits, identification marking and software, performing product test and evaluation, executing software diagnosis, machine and component repairs and upgrades.

Essential Duties:

-log failure data

-repair results

-prepare reports as required

-read and interpret directions/instructions from a PC based system and/or from written test or verbal communication

-may include major or minor repairs and troubleshooting of products

-may provide guidance, direction, and instructions to other assigned associates

-may use warehouse equipment- hand or pallet jack, tape measure, small hand and/or power tools

-assembly and/or sub-assembly of copier/printer items (mechanical & electrical)

-packaging and labeling of supplies for shipment

-troubleshooting and testing of items

-maintain simple housekeeping tasks around warehouse

-read and follow instructions

-software documentation

-inspect quality of work

Shift:

1st- 7am-3:30pm

2nd- 4pm-12:30am

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-mechanical and electrical assembly and/or dis-assembly experience

-documentation experience

-experience in computers, electronics, IT

-HSD or GED

-understanding of digital imaging

-familiar with ESD practices

-general knowledge with system, subsystem and component level interactivity

-ability to lift up to 50lbs

-ability to operate equipment

-ability to lift, bend, pull and stand for entire shift

nice to have:

-warehouse experience

-degree in electronics/computer science

-military training in electronics

-trade school certificate in electronics
