Job Title: Support Engineer (NEW GRAD)

Job Location: Hillsboro, OR or Indianapolis, IN

Start Date: Summer 2021

Role Description:

  • This responsibility includes developing a strong partnership across Worldwide Support, and our Support Operations team. As a member of the team, the individual is technically competent, business oriented and has highly customer centric approach by becoming a Salesforce cloud application and platform expert

  • Assist third-party developers to troubleshoot their integration with Salesforce APIs, Apex, Visualforce and implementation of other Salesforce developer products. This will involve debugging, troubleshooting, and taking responsibility to see that the issue is fully resolved

  • Ability to describe Salesforce solutions to customers in a way that is articulate, accurate, and persuasive

  • Create knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency while also empowering and enabling the developer community

  • This team works a non standard work week. The team works 5 days per week; however, it is not necessary that the weekend is Saturday and Sunday. Your non work days may be, for example, Mon/Tue, Wed/Thur, Mon/Wed etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Senior graduating Spring/Summer 2021 with a major in Computing/STEM (Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent)

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of Internet development technologies (HTML, XML, API, SQL etc.) is required, etc.

  • Understanding of database concepts and data management (RDBMS) and SQL

  • Action oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of Salesforce platforms (CRM, )

  • Solid programming abilities in one or more of the following languages: Java, PHP, Python, Ruby,.NET, JavaScript and Perl. Knowledge of Internet technologies: firewalls, web servers, web proxy servers, etc.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese
