General Electric Sr Staff Software Architect in Indianapolis, Indiana
As Sr Staff Software Architect for Billing Automation, your main responsibility will be to drive significant business outcomes and results in the GE Power Cash Receivables area by effectively liaison between the GE Power Finance organization, the GE Global Operations Finance Billing leadership and operational teams as well as the Automation Factory Technical Development teams for the development and deployment of Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
This critical role is also responsible and accountable to analyze and identify opportunities for Billing process automation, drive business leadership adoption, prioritize backlog, transition, transform, lead the deployment and support Billing Automation solutions globally, across GE Power business entities within the PowerMax ERP organization.
In this role you will:
Liaison with the Global Operations Finance (GOF) Billing team as well as GOF Simplification/Process Excellence resources located in Cincinnati as well as with other GOF Billing teams across the globe.
Understand Billing Enterprise Standard and associated CTQs, and work with all parties to maximize business impact and prioritize and align automation solutions roadmap to ensure successful implementations
Engage throughout the entire lifecycle on Automation projects and provide feedback on architecture, design, and functionality while working closely with all team members.
Effectively leverage Automation capabilities, driving business process standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions
Follow PowerMax Change Mgt., Program Mgt. and Technical review processes and provide insights for product enhancements Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 12 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product OR Master’s degree with 8 years of experience OR PhD with 5 years of experience.Eligibility Requirements:

Minimum of 20 years of experience in Information Technology.
Minimum of 10 years of client management, customer engagement and delivery management experience in a IT commercial (external customer) environment.
Minimum of 10 years of project and program management experience in large/global multinational corporations.
Familiarity with Automation and Artificial Intelligence technologies and solutions (RPA/UiPath, Python-based Machine Learning).
Participates in domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals.
Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level, aligning architectural requirements with software development strategy.
Reviews exceptions and makes recommendations to architectural standards at a domain level.Business Acumen:
