Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Senior Analyst, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Indianapolis, IN and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Transforming how clients deliver services to customers. Delivering large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies. Partnering with clients to transform service delivery to those most in need. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration (SIT), blackbox, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery or Software Development Life Cycle for designing, developing, testing and implementing of web-based applications solutions for enterprise-level clients. Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using IBM Jazz. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs using Microsoft (MS) tools. Using Waterfall, Agile, Java, Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), JavaServer Pages (JSP), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and Corticon to support and participate in the design and development of project solutions. Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders using IBM Jazz and Jira. Coordinating the project activities of onshore and offshore team members to ensure the timely and quality completion of project deliverables. Using IBM Jazz and Jira to support and perform Unit Testing and Peer Testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions. Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments using Microsoft tools.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field. Must have one year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Must have one year of experience with:

  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing and implementing web-based applications solutions for enterprise-level clients;

  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using IBM Jazz;
