Performs a variety of routine production functions in accordance with standard company and ISO procedures. Demonstrated competency in assigned function evidenced by individual performance evaluations and team performance metrics.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Operation of all production equipment in their area with minimum supervision

  • Work from standard Formula sheets to load raw materials

  • Determine the number of containers and correct types of containers for all products and all batch sizes per work instructions

  • Familiar with all mixing times and consistencies for all product in their area

  • Completes all Quality Control Records, Tally Sheets and any other paperwork required in their area

  • Able to locate all raw materials used in area by name, code and bin location

  • Knowledgeable of handling procedures for all materials in area to prevent accidents

  • Ensures that all personnel in area follow proper handling procedures

  • Knowledgeable of all safety procedures and equipment in area

  • Ensures that all personnel in area follow proper safety procedures

  • Coordinates with Quality Control for sample testing and/or adjustments as required by work instructions

  • Coordinates with team members and Supervisors to ensure all production schedules are met

  • Assist in the training of Operator 1 personnel in their area

Job Specifications/Skills:

  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Good oral and written skills

  • Demonstrable ability to read and understand written work instructions

  • Working knowledge of computer software programs: Microsoft Office, JD Edwards or similar enterprise business software systems

  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects to meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of organization

  • Ability to recognize problems/issues & resolve/recommend process improvements

  • Exudes professionalism by making good 1stimpressions, demonstrating respectful and welcoming behavior, dressing appropriate to the environment and maintaining professional work surroundings

  • Ability to learn other systems and software used by the company

  • Maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers

  • Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives

  • Other duties as directed by the supervisor

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency certificate

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus

  • Ability to continuously stand or walk for extended periods of time

  • Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, reach and lift frequently

  • Frequent ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work in hot and/or cold weather conditions in open warehouse area

  • Must be able to climb stairs (open mesh) with varying degrees of pitch
