Procurement Manager

job summary:

Randstad has an immediate opening for a Procurement Manager on a right to hire basis in Indianapolis, IN 46278.

This role is responsible for defining and executing the global sourcing strategy for the products and services that fall under:

Corporate Services (HR, Staffing/Recruiting, Legal, Facilities)

Marketing

SalesOps

Travel

Other Employee-Related Services

The Procurement Sourcing Manager is accountable to:

Execute the sourcing process for all new provider services

Manage the respective supplier performance to meet and/or exceed requirements

Lead the negotiating and structuring of supplier agreements

Identify and analyze multiple components of, and/or issues related to, the assigned category streams and submit conclusions using high-level quantitative skills

Common responsibilities include

Participation in the analysis of business requirements

Development of detailed project specifications

Conduct and evaluate RFP's (Request for Proposals)

Aggressively negotiate to drive the best value for the business.

WHAT IS NEEDED IN THIS ROLE

Bachelor's degree (discipline in Procurement preferable)

Five to eight years analytical and procurement experience

Demonstrated competency in strategic sourcing

Effective resource management and project management skills/capabilities
