USIC Operations Excellence Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana

Operations Excellence Manager Job Description Responsible for driving continuous improvement and financial optimization within assigned operational unit as measured by key performance indicators supporting Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Timeliness. This improvement will be driven through operational rigor, value creating initiatives, and adherence to accepted standards. Responsibilities Support assigned regional directors by providing requested reporting and analysis intended to drive improved performance across their footprint Independently identify opportunities through data analysis and in the field observation and work with regional leadership to implement these initiatives Partner with peer Operational Excellence to help identify and expand localized best practices Provide analysis and monitoring as directed of the design, implementation, and tracking of nation-wide 811 initiatives Act on behalf of operations with functional areas (IT, Commercial, Finance, HR, etc.) to drive initiatives and provide operations expertise Efforts can include Qliksense development, customer penalty reduction analysis, contract reviews, etc. Requirements Business or mathematics related Bachelors or equivalent field experience required Must be highly skilled with Microsoft Excel, business intelligence platforms (i.e. QlikSense), and PowerPoint Expected to be a subject matter expert on analytics Must be able to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with all levels of the company Demonstrated self starter with the ability to take initiative Travel required (25%-50%) Five years of experience handling corporate data and providing action-oriented analysis.
