The Cary Company Operations Coordinator (Management Trainee) in Indianapolis, Indiana

The Cary Company is seeking a highly organized and self motivated individual to support our Indianapolis, IN office and distribution warehouse. This position is perfect for those who thrive on managing multiple tasks while being able to find ways to enhance and improve our existing system and processes. We are seeking a candidate with a business acumen. The candidate will be required to think beyond the immediate scope of the job, and understand the larger picture of the company. This position works along side our Operations Manager and reports directly to our Facility Manager.

  • Work directly with our facility manager to assist and support day to day operations

  • Act as a liaison between Indianapolis facility and corporate headquarters in Addison, IL

  • Assist management in building relationships with our customers and vendors

  • Help our logistics department with pertinent job functions relating to our Indianapolis location

  • Assist management with related tasks regarding planning and assigning daily work to labor

  • Assist with order entry and stocking requirements

  • When facility manager is out, you will be responsible for making sure tasks are being distributed and completed, while helping hold other team members accountable.

  • Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive mindset

  • Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and time management

  • This position requires an individual who is self-directed and detail-oriented with an inquisitive nature and desire to solve problems
