Oconomowoc Residential Programs Maintenance in Indianapolis, Indiana
Transitions Academy, located in Indianapolis, provides support services in a residential setting to the adolescent population. Program offerings provide treatment services to diverse populations with a focus on the treatment of emotional, behavioral, developmental/intellectual and other mental health impairments in a 24 hour a day, residential setting.
Employee performs general repairs and preventive maintenance for the facility. Knowledge of carpentry, paint, glass, electrical, heating, refrigeration, masonry and plumbing is required. Employee will maintain proper functioning of all facility systems, follow up on all work orders and maintain appropriate documentation per facility and licensing protocols.
Requires an educational background normally acquired through a high school education with course work in skilled crafts. High School diploma or GED preferred.
Basic knowledge of workplace safety and how to handle emergencies and accidents.
Basic knowledge and use of mathematics.
Basic knowledge of power tools.
Basic knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
Ability to paint, plaster/drywall and masonry
Minimum of 21 years of age.
