Corteva Agriscience has an exciting and challenging opportunity in the Product Chemistry GLP Team within Product and Process Technology R&D for a GLP Analytical Technician. The GLP Analytical Technician will perform analytical product chemistry studies that enable registration of new and existing active ingredients and agricultural products. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities:

How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!

  • Perform GLP laboratory product chemistry studies including certifications, physical chemical property testing, storage stability, physical property testing, method validations and batch analysis for Active Ingredients and Formulated Crop Protection Products.

  • Ensure that all data are being generated and documented in a manner consistent with SOPs, GLP requirements, and the study plan.

  • Support daily operations of the analytical laboratories by maintaining the instrumentation.

  • Work closely with the GLP Study Director to efficiently perform experiments and participate in the Quality Assurance Audit program.

  • Initiate and format study packets according to requirements for registration and re-registration of end use products and active ingredients.

  • Work closely with Product Chemistry Project Managers and Analytical R&D method development team to ensure the success of projects through the GLP implementation phase of the product development and launch timelines.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an associate degree is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience with analytical chemistry techniques.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred:

  • Degree discipline in Chemistry or a related science is preferred.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and customer focused environment.

  • Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate urgent projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders and peer.

  • Demonstration of the value of environmental health and safety.
