Our Maintenance Specialist 1 at Golden LivingCenters maintain the enriching, healing, and comfortable environment we promise patients for their recovery. This means ensuring that our facilities, vehicles, and residencies are in good working order and safe for use. We count on you to assess and maintain our all aspects of our facilities including buildings, grounds, or equipment. Working closely with our professional and collaborative staff members in this department, you'll make the necessary repairs to keep our facilities catering to our patients' every need. You'll guarantee our patients feel right at home in this valuable position as a Maintenance Specialist 1 at Golden LivingCenters.

Supervise the facility's day-to-day functions as it relates to the facility's interior and grounds to include staffing, supply ordering and supervision to ensure facility policy and standards are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Ensuring that all maintenance activities in a facility are appropriately carried out
Maintaining and upholding the quality and standards of an organization
Keeping a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintaining a cycle of the same
Ensuring proper working shifts of employees
Evaluating staff performances
Complying with all safety norms and regulations set by the industry
Delegating work to subordinates and ensuring the timely completion of the same
CODE OF CONDUCT
Must adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics policy including documentation and reporting responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum three (3) years related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job
Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND BEHAVIORS
Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. If someone can do medium work, we determine that he or she can also do sedentary and light work.
