If you're looking for a job that's more than just a job, our Tech family is waiting for you!POSITION OVERVIEWThe Installation Technician performs the installation of fire, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, infant abduction and wandering patient systems at customer or project sites assuring that Tech Electronics' standards of quality are maintained during the system installation. Ensures that Tech Electronics' systems are installed per plans and specifications and/or Tech Electronics' scope of work definition and per local and national codes.Oversees and assists with all cable, device and head-end installation performs programming of systems at project site checkout and testing of the installed system and other tasks assigned by the Project ManagerPreferred Candidate Will PossessExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-taskAbility to change communication style to fit the situation and audienceStrong customer service orientationAbility to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervisionPOSITION REQUIREMENTSAssociate's Degree in Computer Networking or Electronics, or equivalent industry work experience.Minimum of three years of industry experienceExperience in field servicing and troubleshooting computer networks is requiredLenel or NICET Certifications a plusDaily use of AC/DC theory and working knowledge of the NEC and IBC National Building Codes is highly preferredAdditional experience on Fire Alarms, Integrated Card Access Systems and IP Video Surveillance Systems a plusTech Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
