You Are

An Informatica and data-management maestro with the data analysis chops to serve as an effective data advisor and design translator. Your superpower? Working with clients to make sure their data is governed appropriately, cleansed effectively, and secured completely. You advise clients on the latest data strategies and policies, drawing on your technical know-how to guide them through setting up the most effective data compliance policies. Your keen sense of logic and order lets you see how a functional design translates to physical systems. Your analytical prowess helps you define how data will be stored, governed, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and systems. Communication, leadership, and people skills? Check, check, check. You thrive in a team setting where you can use your stellar creative and analytical skills to quash problems. The Work

Assume a lead role in designing and architecting ETL solutions, and perform data analysis and ETL design on assigned projects.

Document requirements and design, develop, and modify Informatica code, workflows, and mappings.

Help gather requirements, conduct business analysis, and write specs for technical designs.

Assess and design databases, both logical and physical; and define logical views and physical data structures.

Check that test plans and test scenarios are airtight, and verify test results. Spot and assess trends in errors in order to pinpoint and install long-term solutions to problems.

Establish enterprise standards and best practices to make sure that solutions scale and work with other data platforms.

Be ready to rack up those air miles with weekly travel to client sites.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Technical Lead (or similar capacity) with Informatica Cloud ETL, including experience in defining requirements, and designing and architecting integration solutions

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a Unix database

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hands-on project management

• A Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree and 6 additional years of experience, or 12 additional years of experience

This role requires 100% flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients (typically Monday through Thursday).
