ERP Applications Analyst will perform professional duties related to the review, assessment, and development of end-to-end business processes with ties to IT operational processes and process coordinators. Functioning in a liaison capacity, combine business-planning and IT knowledge to analyze and translate business requirements into system requirements and proposals that underpin continual service improvements, deployments and/or business process changes. This role acts as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments/modifications to current practices and solutions.

Explains new technologies and presents deliverables to customers.
Analyzes chain of events and establishes procedures and/or detailed specifications. Troubleshoots most application problems independently.
Writes fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner and according to standards. Shares knowledge effectively within the work team.
Responds to user problems, explains new technologies and presents deliverables.
Selects an approach or procedure for addressing a work task with general direction and progress reviews by supervisor.
Applies basic understanding of the principles of information technology with working knowledge in one or two technology environments.
Defines and documents customer business functions and processes
Participate in the planning and execution of projects that move ideas from strategy to design, transition and into operations
Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and/or software procurement.
Liaisons with vendors supporting business applications; oversees technical activities for enhancement releases
Consults with functional unit stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
Tracks and fully documents change for functional and technical specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
Reads and interprets systems and functional technical literature and translates in terms understandable to the end-users.
Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents court business rules, functions, and requirements.
Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality. Assists training teams in development of formal training materials aligned with documented functional and technical documents
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in Information Systems and/or Business Administration
Two or more years of experience in IT and/or applicable business function preferred.
Experience in a similar role with demonstrated relationship building skills resulting in traceable, measurable, impactful results
Understands the software development lifecycle as well as agile methods used to deliver software solutions
Experience working in team environments and implementing organizational change.
Preferred Application Experience with ERP, Cloud-based solutions, Dynamics D365, Dynamics CRM, Azure, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Data Lake, MS Office, specifically MS Excel (pivot tables), Powerpoint, and Visio.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills required.
TRAVEL: Primarily interfacing with team at the Corporate Office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Four trips per year may apply as the role interfaces with teams that provide services in the field with our customers.
