Job Summary

Responsible for the successful execution of commissioning on a Federal government project in Poland. Utilizes knowledge and skill set to analyze and provide solutions for client’s needs. Collaborates with other disciplines and clients to provide complete results. Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role. With minimal supervision, applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods. Expands knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.

Anticipated time on-site in Poland: one year

Assigned to projects for U.S. Government Agency/Department clients. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Site Commissioning Specialist

  • Construction phase Commissioning and LEED support services.

  • Ensuring work execution is in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

  • Manage commissioning scope, schedule, budget and quality on the assigned project

  • Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on assigned project

  • Recognized as a technical specialist by the division having in-depth knowledge of an engineering process and/or of technical aspects of an industry

  • Actively shares knowledge with other staff members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.

  • Qualified candidate should have or be able to obtain CxA certification.

  • Documented experience as a lead person responsible for commissioning of systems of the type and complexity similar to the systems in the construction projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 8 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Certifications

CxA certification strongly preferred

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Typical office environment. May be subject to extreme cold (temperatures below 30 degrees for periods of more than one hour), extreme heat (temperatures above 90 degrees for periods of more than one hour), hazards ( electrical currents, working on scaffolding, etc), etc.
