Business Information Developer
The preferred locations for this position are Georgia, Indiana, Virginia and Illinois
(but other locations may be considered)
The Business Information Developer is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of data mining analyses to enhance reporting functionality and identify data relationships and patterns.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops and executes data mining analyses.
Uses SQL programming languages to extract and manipulate large data sets.
Develops new and maintains standard queries and reports utilizing data warehouse information.
Ability to understand the business requirements and develop the reports and statistical samples.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and present analytical data to all levels of management.
Requires a BS/BA degree and 2-3 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and data analytical experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Requires PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and SQL Programming.
Requires hands-on programming experience in SAS and MS SQL connecting to databases like Teradata, SQL Server and Oracle. Tools used will be Teradata SQL Assistant, SQL Server Management Studio and SAS Enterprise Guide (PROC SQL, SAS DATA Step Procedures, etc.).
Requires proficiency in all Microsoft office products, in particular MS Excel and Visio.
Preferred familiarity with Hadoop, SAS MACRO language, and BI Tools such as Power BI but not required.
Preferred health insurance knowledge/experience, but not required.
