TriMas Corporation Assembly Machine Operator in Indianapolis, Indiana

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

  • Be on time for your shift and demonstrate an exemplary attendance record

  • Control the functions of the assembly equipment, start/stop of the equipment, lockout the equipment per procedure when going into the machine, meet or exceed the part per minute standards that have been set for each piece of assembly equipment

  • Conduct and record hourly quality inspections on finished goods assemblies

  • Scan, record, inspect and manage raw materials and finished goods that are produced through the assembly equipment

  • Troubleshoot production interruptions that may take place during the normal course of the production shift and record uptime and downtime

  • Follow and adhere to daily production schedules and targets

  • Work with maintenance personnel and production supervisor to maximize uptime on the assembly equipment to meet customer expectations regarding on time service

  • Maintain a log book for daily production and downtime events

  • Follow all company procedures regarding GMP’s and sanitation requirements

  • And all other tasks as required
