Goodwill Indy Assembler 2- Goodwill Commercial Services Tremont Warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana
POSITION SUMMARY
The position performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce products.This role demonstrates behaviors consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values, on behalf of Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana.
Responsibilities
Demonstrating behavior consistent with Goodwill Industries Historic Values, Basic Principles and Standards of Conduct
Assembles products as instructed by Production Team Leader/ERDS
Works at different work stations as production needs require, following proscribed safety and quality requirements
Adheres to company policies and procedures
Works as a team member
Other duties may be assigned

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Some use of tools, tooling set-ups; fixtures, higher quality check responsibilities
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
or one to three months related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
Ability to perform Complexity of assembly and use tools to assemble
