Staff Management is currently hiring an Application Engineer for a direct hire position with our customer located in Indianapolis, IN. We are looking for a highly motivated individual looking to join a team that fosters success and keeps your individual development in mind.

The Application Engineer will be the technical expert liaison for our customer with responsibilities that include:

  • Discuss new projects with customer’s engineering team

  • Meet with customer’s production team to improve production flow

  • Meet with customer’s quality team to review warranty

  • Provide customer scorecard and review with various groups

  • Size drive transmissions in customer machines

  • Conduct field testing and report on customer machines

  • Participate in new product development teams

  • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests

Required Education and/or Experience

  • BS in Engineering or related technical degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in hydraulics and electronics is a plus

  • Minimum 3 years industrial product experience is required

  • Customer focused

  • Strong technical aptitude

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
