Corteva Agriscience has an exciting and challenging opportunity in the Product Chemistry Team within Analytical Sciences, Product and Process Technologies. The GLP Study Director will lead and perform analytical product chemistry studies that enable registration of new and existing active ingredients and agricultural products. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN .

Perform GLP laboratory product chemistry studies including certifications, physical chemical property testing, storage stability, physical property testing, method validations and batch analysis for Active Ingredients and Formulated Crop Protection Products.
Act as the GLP Study Director to plan, write protocols and carry out analytical studies, write final report, and participate in the Quality Assurance Audit program.
Initiate, coordinate, and document studies required for registration and re-registration of end use products and active ingredients.
Partner with Product Chemistry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Analytical R&D SMEs to lead projects through the GLP implementation phase of the product development and launch timelines.
Mentor team members on analytical techniques and technologies.
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise.
Evaluate and implement technologies, workflows, and/or instrumentation to increase efficiency and quality.
Partner with other Corteva research organizations from multiple disciplines (Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain) to communicate project progress and timelines.
What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?
Ph.D or BS/MS with 3-5 years of experience in Chemistry, Biology, related science required.
Prior experience applying multiple LC and GC techniques is required.
Prior experience with LC/MS and GC/MS is required.
Knowledge of GLP study conduct and document management requirement.
Relevant experience may also include IC, SCF, SPE, ICP, physical chemical or product performance testing in a regulated environment.
Experience with mass spectrometry for structural identification is highly preferred.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and customer focused environment.
Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate urgent projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group of customers, peers, plant personnel, R&D, regulatory, and industrial experts.
Demonstration of the value of environmental health and safety.
