This position will support the hiring and lead the daily activities of associates in an Ecommerce fulfillment production environment including onboarding, training, performance management of employees, daily assignments and tasks for employees to complete, managing performance metrics and budget to ensure goal attainment.i Develop team and individuals to ensure depth of talent and skills, observe and document performance of employees identifying areas for performance improvement and/or career development.i Create a customer service culture within the areas of responsibility.Provide supervision to a team of distribution center associates processing apparel merchandiseDelegate tasks, train and monitor employee performance to meet and exceed productivity, accuracy, quality, safety, attendance goals in accordance with SOP's and ascena policiesAbility to engage employees, coach, provide direction and feedback, deliver corrective action when necessaryIdentify talent and develop bench strength for key functions and positionsManage functional areas to ensure all Key Performance metrics are achieved; develop daily work plan, monitor results, initiate changes to ensure daily goals are achievedWritten and verbal communication skills commensurate with role; with immediate manager, sr. leadership, direct reports in daily start up that details current business/department work in process and appropriate business updates, professional follow up to employee and business partner questions and concernsIdentify process improvements that help drive efficiency and cost improvements that support budget and goal attainmentCollaborate across functional areas to support overall facility goals and objectives, change management, capital projects and safety of employeesSupport and create a culture of consistency, fairness and inclusiveness for associates, consistent with the SSG Mission and How We Engage , code of business conduct and supportive of the Open Door Policy Develop proficiency in all functions within area of responsibilityAbility to work additional hours or different shifts as required by the businessiJOB REQUIREMENTSPost-secondary education preferred (university, college or certifications) or comparable 2+ years supervisory experience in an ecommerce fulfillmenti (preferred) or highly-automated distribution environmentKnowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, PKMS preferredAble to communicate effectively, verbal and written, and across all levels, functions, with business partners throughout the organizationProven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, plan and execute responsibilities on scheduleAbility to prioritize activities, direct and motivate a team to achieve maximum results in their workStrong decision, analytical, problem solving, organizational and relationship building skillsAdaptability to a rapidly changing environment; lead and support your team's transition throughi business changesBe able to set the example in regards to professionalism, respect, support of diversity and culture consistent with expectations of the CompanyMust have solid PC skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access database, and Outlook
