Aerotek EHS Specialist in Goshen, Indiana
This EHS Specialist will plan, coordinate and implement comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs in an expanding organization. They are looking to add to Plant 19, Plant 50 in Goshen, IN and Middlebury, IN plant 28. This person will be the only EHS person on 1st shift. Must be able to train and work with manufacturing departments to improve processes and methods. EHS Specialist has to be able to meet guidelines and deadlines and work well with ALL levels of management. EHS specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day EHS functions of several departments. EHS specialist will be responsible for conducting facility and site inspections in addition to job hazard analysis to identify hazards and potential risks and waste. Will conduct and provide training to employees over EHS. Will conduct post accident investigations and make recommendations for changes on equipment/processes to improve. EHS specialist's focus will be on 80% Safety, and 20% Environmental responsibilities.
