NSK Americas Purchasing Coordinator in Franklin, Indiana
Purchases goods and services for the corporation or the plant while maximizing quality, price and delivery.
• Places all orders within two business days of receipt of approved requisition.
Provides three quotes per purchase order whenever
• Provides three quotes per purchase order whenever possible; works with suppliers to obtain multiple price quotes, in order to minimize cost.
Enters all PO's into BAAN in a timely and accurate
• Enters all PO's into BAAN in a timely and accurate manner. Reports any problem PO's to the appropriate manager. Verify that higher cost PO"s have the required multiple signatures. Verifies pricing with vendors and research cost savings.

J-Sox compliance - Maintains all purchasing requirements
• J-Sox compliance - Maintains all purchasing requirements are complete based on J-Sox requirements. Participates in all J-Sox audits and walk through of purchasing processes.
Originating action to improve existing conditions and processes; identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions.

This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 to 4 years of position-related experience; preferably 4 to 6 years of position-related experience.
