Are you ready to step up to the challenge of launching your career with Indiana Packers?SummaryThe Frankfort Production hourly team member will use straight and or mechanical knives, skinners, and other processing tools to trim and cut carcasses to meet stringent customer specifications. To ensure food safety, the production floor is generally around 35 to 38 degrees. Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.QualificationsAbility to work 5-6 days a week and overtimeMust be able to lift 35 lbs. and do constant pushing, pulling, reaching, stretching and bending (depending on position)Ability to work with raw meat productsAble to work in an extreme cold, damp or extreme hot and humid environmentWalk constantly and stand on concrete for 8-10 hoursAble to work with knivesAble to follow safety and food regulationsPrevious experience in manufacturing environment is preferred but not requiredMust be able to pass E-VerifyCompensationStarting Wage is $15.88 with a $0.53 increase at completion of 90 daysTop Wage is $17.09Second Shift Premium is $0.50 cents an hourInterested candidates can apply at or in-person at Indiana Packers Frankfort Facility (1150 Vermont St, Frankfort. 765-564-7461) from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
