Responsibilities include: cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit on shift. In this role, you will lead a team of frontline employees within the maintenance department (mechanics/technicians). Lead team of 5 to 20 hourly maintenance mechanics with varying levels of experience and educationMajor Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities:Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivityDeploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and technician capabilitiesImplement process improvements to drive package and flavor changeover efficiencyDemonstrate strong leadership skills to coach, develop and influence various teamsUtilize visual factory concepts to improve asset utilization and plant performanceTrack standard manufacturing and warehouse metrics and prioritize plant maintenance opportunitiesEnsure proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Support various components and activities spanning the project management life cycle: such as business case analysis, detailed requirements, software design/testing/deployment and issues managementDevelop a team to handle day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsDeliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impactCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issuesBuilds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnelMotivate team members to achieve plan goalsAdminister policies and proceduresRegular and predictable attendance at the work sitePrioritize work requestsThis role requires regular presence on the plant floor, lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally, may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally and occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.This role may require off-shift and weekend workSome travel (less than 5%)Qualifications/RequirementsBacheloris degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fieldOperations maintenance experience preferred along with of supervisor experienceAbility to think quickly, take initiative, think creatively and challenge team to do the samePossess strong skills in project managementProven ability to work in a results-oriented, dynamic environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to get results through
