Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for inspecting and servicing telecommunications equipment and wiring

  • Responsible for routing and switching, operational support, project implementation and maintenance of communications technologies

  • Assist with the design, installation, configuration, support and performance analysis

Job Requirements

  • Must possess an intermediate understanding of communications technologies

  • Strong computer skills

  • Positive team oriented attitude

  • Experience in fiber splicing

  • Experience with mobile radio installs

  • Experience running cables

  • Ethernet experience

  • Knowledge of routers and switches

  • Education: Associate Degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience

  • Experience: Typically 2 or more years of related experience

  • Valid drivers license

  • Wiring responsibilities require the ability to differentiate between colors

Required Technical Experience with:

  • Computer Systems• EMS/SCADA Systems

  • Networking Systems


  • Wireless Access

  • Radio Systems

  • Field Radio

  • Radio Networking Support

  • Fiber Optic Support

  • Transport System Support

  • Mobile Data
