Description

Our software engineering teams are focused on business outcomes and are empowered to create intuitive, reliable, and well-performing applications. They leverage agile frameworks for delivery and are focused on highest-value capabilities, product quality, security, and solution economics.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage agile software development frameworks for product delivery and write clean, scalable code

  • Partner with peers, scrum masters, product owners, and other stakeholders on product delivery

  • Create high-quality software solutions that delight users, are aligned with standards and guiding principles, and are maintainable and easy to support

  • Ensure solution economics and total cost of ownership are considered during design and development

  • Collaborate with Architecture & Engineering team on creation of new software products or enhancements to existing products / solutions

  • Oversee orchestration, communications, and software development for small projects

  • Partner with IT operational teams and other stakeholders resolving issues and providing technical support

    Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Two year degree in Computer Science / related discipline or equivalent training / experience

  • Experience or training with agile frameworks

  • Experience or training with cloud, web, integration, and data development in a business environment

  • Knowledge of and experience with IT security and data privacy best-practices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Disciplined, focused, and self-motivated

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing automated tests

  • Experience with Scrum or Kanban
