To be considered for one of the employment opportunities below, you'll need to complete our online application at: Opening:i Licensed Electriciani iii (Shift: 1, 2, or 3)Apply Online:i iSummary:Repairs and maintains electrical equipment, machinery, and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, electrical tools, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.Essential Duties:Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.Reads electrical anditechnical diagrams and blueprints.Performs general electrical maintenance.Inspects transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.Troubleshoots machinery and equipment and diagnoses problems.Repairs defective machines and equipment by dismantling and installing new or repaired parts.Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.Installs or repairs automated machinery and equipment.Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.Assists in performing preventative maintenance and ensures that preventative maintenance schedules are being met.Assists in training production employees on proper maintenance procedures, including but not limited to, lockout-tagout.Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Repairs and maintains physical structure of facilities.Initiates purchase requests for parts and machines.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), 5 - 7 years of hands-on electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of apprenticeship or postsecondary training. Electrician training degree and electrical safety degree required. The ability to read and interpret blue prints and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Occasionally be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds. Critical thinking, problem solving, customer service, and troubleshooting skills; excellent vision.We are an equal opportunity employer.
