SUMMARY: Performs skilled duties as a Life Safety specialist, performing inspections, and repairs of multiple life safety systems and components. In addition, performs general skilled work associated with the repair, maintenance, and operation of building systems and equipment.
EDUCATION: High school graduate (or equivalent with GED) with two years technical training from a vocational or technical institute, or can demonstrate a combination of experience and training that would be equivalent to the two years of technical schooling.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Valid IN Drivers License. Must attain Certified Life Safety Specialist (CLSS-HC) for Health Care certification within 12 months of hire.
EXPERIENCE: Previous work experience preferred, but not required. Demonstrates a good working knowledge of routine building maintenance and troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, HVAC, and equipment repair or replacement and must be able to lift 75 pounds.
