Fiserv Appdev Remediation Analyst in Fishers, Indiana

What does a great AppDev Remediation Analyst do?

As an AppDev Remediation Analyst, you will work with teams to confirm viable remediation solutions, while also serve as the coordinator who works with the Fiserv Cyber Security team to ensure vulnerability remediation involving AppDev occurs. This includes partnering with the appropriate infrastructure and application teams to ensure remediation plans are identified and carried out for all reported vulnerabilities. The AppDev Remediation Analyst will report progress and remediation challenges to AppDev management and Cyber Security team on a regular basis. Driving remediation and mitigation activities that are required by the Appdev team in response to the quarterly OSA remediation process, and other new security requirements that are mandated. Identify the priority of vulnerability fix actions and contribute to the mitigation strategies that can be implemented. Track vulnerability remediation efforts through regular follow up with leaders and teams. Monitor and report metrics on the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts, and fulfillment of remediation requirements. Work with AppDev teams to analyze disparate data to synthesize solutions that provide actionable recommendations for various vulnerabilities. Manage security operational and project duties including roll out of new tools and processes that must be followed.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 4-8 years of related experience. A security certification is a plus.

  • Knowledge of output from various vulnerability scanning tools such as Burpsuite/ Qualys/Nessus.

  • Familiar with NIST/CIS/STIGS standards.

  • Past .NET or Java experience is a plus.

  • Experience creating process/procedure documentation related to vulnerability management.
