  • Research and verify that each telecommunications invoice is billing correctly.

  • Open carrier trouble tickets as needed for telecommunications circuits or services. Track status with the carrier to completion.

  • Create and track carrier new service or service cancellations. This will include validating proper billing and credits as necessary. Verify terminations are completely in a timely manner.

  • Generate carrier billing disputes as needed. Track through issuance for credit.

  • Create and maintain a telecommunications inventory profile (Circuits, POTS lines, equipment, etc.).

  • Track incidents and requests within the ticketing system to ensure complete resolution.

  • Collaborate with all program stakeholders to include other service desk personnel or resources or internal senior resources to resolve incidents that are beyond their skillset or responsibility by routing incidents, to other customer groups.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.

  • Alert management to recurring problems, patterns and trends.


  • Good planning, decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills

  • Excellent follow-through and initiative in issue resolution

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as external parties
