Job SummaryLyondellBasell is currently seeking a qualified, dedicated Production Operator for our plant located inEvansville, IN.This position will workswing shiftwith a Dupont schedule that runs7:00am-7:00pmand7:00pm-7:00am.Candidates MUST be able to work both day and night shifts.Some overtime or weekend work may be necessary.This position is an immediate, direct hire with competitive pay. Offering a full benefits package that starts your first day on the job, benefits include: medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, health savings, life insurance, and flexible spending accounts.Basic FunctionThe position of Production Operator includes multiple tasks that ultimately provide good manufacturing practices and on time delivery to the customer. The individual must be able to communicate production status, communicate problems to proper personnel and understand how it affects other aspects of the operation.Roles and ResponsibilitiesComply with all safety requirements resulting in zero safety violations. This includes participating in all safety related activities such as safety talks, behavioral based safety observations, audits, etc.Follows standard operating procedures for all assigned tasksMonitor machine parameters and resolve processing problems.Performs all standard QC testsOperates all equipment/processes with little supervisionGenerates customer certifications as requiredPerforms accurate data entry as requiredPerforms equipment maintenance tasks (PMS, Troubleshoot, repair, etc.), where applicable.Maintains accurate production documentation as requiredMaintain a clean work environment ensuring that there are no pellets or debris on the floor or machines and all tools and equipment are in the proper location and storage unitsMin. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
