As a member of our Supply Chain group, the Master Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining the master production plan to ensure demand and supply are balanced at all times. This position can be located in either Aurora, IL, Montogomery, AL, Evansville, IN or Franklin, MA.


  • Create and maintain the 1-3 month Master Production Plan that maximizes service and reduces cost

  • Lead and drive the MRP review process

  • Ensure Supply Chain absolutes are followed by working with all schedulers

  • Develop a plan to manage all operational inventory that will optimize both service and working capital

  • Manage the lifecycle and inventory for discontinued or slow moving inventory to minimize obsolete inventory

  • Track key performance indicators such as Ship to Promise, DOH, obsolete inventory, production schedule, order cycle time, and plant utilization

  • Manage Master Data by working with plant operations to drive scheduling excellence


  • Associate degree, or closely related equivalent

  • 7-10 years’ experience in production planning and scheduling

  • JDE, Logility and Cognos experience required

  • Experience using an MRP/ERP system

  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment

  • Proficiency in gathering, analyzing and interpreting data.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related Office applications

  • Effectively communicate with customers, both external and internal

  • Willingness to travel when required
