Key Responsibilities include:

  • Independently analyze cost, established prices, market dynamics and competitive activity to set price

  • Prepare accurate quotations and understand the impact on customers and the business

  • Interact with manufacturing, purchasing and finance to accurately develop costs

  • Ensure current product quotation is used to develop price record and summarize tracking details for

  • programs outlined in the quotation

  • Coordinate multi-line bid preparation including cost summary, competitive analysis and price

  • recommendation

  • Work closely with Product Line Managers and Directors to understand product strategies

  • Prepare and distribute product description (size/style) changes to all affected departments

  • Track price realization impact of implemented price changes using Cognos sales data

  • Manage price concession approval process and track impact

  • Prepare sales, profit or price analysis as requested

  • Review and approve price holds and transfer price requests

  • Ensure the configuration requested can be produced and is functionally appropriate

  • Promote most economical location for product manufacturing

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be highly organized, detailed and proficient in Excel

  • JDE and Cognos knowledge a plus

  • Strong analytical background

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills across functions from manufacturing to sales

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality

  • Bottle, closure and/or overcap knowledge a plus
